watching again 2 of your old interviews in palisades gold radio with tom understand this market in depth.
while sharing my insights with a friend, we were left with a question about PSLV short volume spike. is it related to short positions increasing, or short covering?
when looking into one site it seems short open interest increasing all the way to only 3M in feb24, but volume is 35-50% of total daily volume. so I was not sure what to think of it.
as PSLV is measured against silver price, I examined the discount rate in this time to reflect demand strength. it narrowed to 2%, but still in its typical 2-4% discount rate, quite a modest demand measure I would say.
Oooh—looking forward to this. 👍
