Let’s hope that when the platinum market blows up all eyes turn to silver. Banksters look like a wounded whale in shark infested waters. Maybe more stock market normies will finally take notice too.

Tight stockpile situation for platinum, palladium, and silver. End of the line (the bitter end) for the paper price fixers. Matter of time.

"Matter of time."

Yes. But, for what???????????

Look at the rest of the Markets. The markets are all DEAD! You obviously couldn't wake them with a stick. Certainly, the 'wars and rumours of wars' have no influence? Is this denial, or hubris? (Nobody can defeat the US?)

I don't believe in "Summer Doldrums" in this situation. I also don't believe that compulsive traders have suddenly matured enough to conclude that 'if the World is going to end, why bother'.....

Rather, I think that a lot of money is being spent to maintain "Stability" or the image thereof ??

Platinum can be allowed to move. It is not an important market.

Since January, gold is up 30% revaluing the world's total gold stock up by $5.4 trillion.

Delivery default (not delay) is going to accelerate the stampede.

Abandonment of London as a financial center.

Frauds always collapse.

Everything you say is true. But, what happens to us when the markets collapse? Who and what becomes "Collateral Damage"? I believe a market collapse will cascade across civilization! Will Eurasia allow this to happen at the risk of a nuclear war? Or will pragmatism and "The art of the deal" carry the day? I know my preference.

In any case, there will be costs, pain, and suffering. No ordinary person will escape unharmed.

Also, the structural results may take years to manifest.

I think you are talking about a complete collapse across all markets, which will only occur when the banking system collapses. All you say of that scenario is true, and I think the only thing that can spare the banking system its fate is a return to some kind of gold standard monetary system. In all scenarios, the accumulation of physical metals is one of the best things any of us can do for preparation.

Actually Russ; my biggest fear is a 'Socioeconomic' collapse. Where the structures and values we all take for granted are nolonger relevant.

The fears of Hardcore Preppers are being fulfilled nearly every day. Perhaps they had it right all along??

In which case, an "Investor's" best strategy is "Broadband Diversification"?
